Allelys increase service offering with bunded storage facility

We are pleased to announce that our new storage facility is complete, adding 18,000 square foot of bunded storage.

David Allely, Director, commented “Allelys constantly look to improve our service offering and this latest investment provides bunded storage for large electrical transformers or other major units that contain hazardous liquids. The facility is serviced by a 100 tonne overhead crane and is a great addition to our storage solutions.”

Full storage and warehousing solutions

The construction of the warehouse is now complete and the storage facility is available to our customers on a short or long term basis. Located in Studley, Warwickshire, the bunded storage unit is located next to major transport links to enable easy access and egress from the site.

This facility compliments our full range of warehousing and storage services, from palletised goods through to heavy plant, heavy electrical items, dies and machinery. With 60,000sqft of fully insulated warehouse space, complete with 100te capacity overhead cranes, and 20,000sqft of fully racked palletised goods storage, we’re able to provide a flexible solution for our customers.

In addition to the overhead cranes, we also have forklift trucks up to 35te capacity and yard crane capacity up to 100te. For heavier items, we can also utilise our hydraulic lifting systems to provide the complete warehousing or storage solution.

The bunded storage facility is amongst a number of investments recently made by Allelys, including a Versa Lift 60/80 that was delivered and added to the existing fleet. Two new Andover specialist rail carriers, with a loading length of up to 26m and a 75te capacity were added to the six already operational within the business. Allelys also received delivery of multi-point lifting system, the JS250, which was the first lifting system within the UK with a lifting capacity of 250te per tower.
