Strand jack lifting solutions
Our strand jacks provide a flexible approach to heavy lifting. With a compact and light weight design but capable of lifting heavy loads, they often provide alternative solutions to lifting loads which are not necessarily suitable or practical to be jacked from beneath. Our strand jacks use high capacity wire strands to attach to the load which then move through hydraulic cylinder jacks for lifting or lowering purposes. The jacks can be used in a variety of combinations, with the number of strands being determined by the weight of the load, with each strand jack having a 100te capacity, providing each set with a total lifting capacity of 400te.
Our strand jack systems are often used in conjunction with our other equipment and services, to provide a full system solutions to our customers’ requirements.
Jacking support services
Our strand jacking support capabilities, often include our other heavy lift jacking systems such as climbing jacks and cylinder jacks or our gantry systems which range up to 900te lifting capacity. Our heavy duty and low level skidding systems also provide additional capabilities for the movement of the loads between lifts.
When transport services are also required, Allelys can provide a number of options, for heavier loads that require road transport around challenging national infrastructure, Allelys own and operate a fleet of girder frame trailers ranging up to 500te. We also operate a fleet of modular trailers that are capable of supporting heavy transport movements both on roads and sites. Where more advanced manoeuvrability is required, Allelys also offer a fleet of SPMTs (Self Propelled Modular Transporters). Ideal for mobilising in a variety of configurations to support on site movements and provide the most modern and up to date manoeuvrability and transport capabilities.
