Rolling stock transport specialists
Allelys have been providing clients with a complete logistics solution for their rail component and rolling stock transport projects for over 35 years. Operators, leasing companies and manufacturers turn to Allelys for our industry knowledge and expertise. Whether the project is to move a 140te mainline locomotive, a 26m long railway coach or a 10te tanker wagon, our team will engineer, transport and project manage all elements from start to finish.
Our heavy haulage fleet of equipment offers a vast range of trailer configurations to transport mainline locomotives, trams of any length or small coaches. Our ramp and winch method to load the rolling stock onto the trailers removes the need to lift the cargo on the majority of projects, however we can provide a full contract lift service for the projects that do require the load to be lifted by crane. Our equipment fleet encompasses SPMTs, girder frames, modular trailers, wafer decks, bespoke rolling stock trailers, semi-low loaders as well as beam trailers and vessel beds.
Supporting services
This is supported by our general haulage fleet that provide customers with transport solutions for spare parts and smaller rail wagons. We also provide storage and warehousing solutions for rolling stock components such as engines and bogies. Together, providing our customer base with a full service offering from one point of contact.
In addition to our industry leading fleet of rolling stock trailers, each project is further supported by our expertise in engineering and project management, ensuring that, where required, route surveys are completed to identify the best route for the rolling stock transport as well as scheduling being completed and permits organised.
