Transport of a 92te armature from Burntwood to Newport

Allelys have successfully completed the relocation of a 92te Armature from Burntwood to Newport. The Armature, which had a 3m diameter, was required to be lifted with its wooden supports. A spreader beam was utilised along with the 100te on site overhead crane. It was loaded onto modular trailers and then transported the 120 mile route to Newport.

Once on site, the transport was positioned inside the storage bay and the Armature was offloaded using Allelys 200te lift and lock jacking system.

Alongside the transportation, Allelys provide the complete solution including route study, lift study, lift plan, lift management and engineering.
