Allelys executes UK’s first double girder frame convoy

Allelys have executed the UK’s first-ever double girder frame convoy while delivering a reactor and transformer to National Grid, Ninfield Substation.

Transportation and installation of a 113te reactor

Allelys have successfully completed the transport and installation of a 113te reactor for Frodsham substation. The reactor, measuring 6.5m (l) x 2.7m (w) x 4m (h) was received at Immingham port and transported to Frodsham using 12 axle lines of modular trailers.

Specialist transport of two 199te rotors and two 62te stators

Allelys have recently completed the delivery of two 199te rotors and two 62te stators for Keith Substation in Scotland.

Transportation of M6 bridge beams

Allelys have successfully delivered ten 48m long bridge beams as part of the M6 Junction 10 improvement scheme. The project was split into two phases, with five beams delivered in July and five in September.

Removal of one of Birmingham’s iconic statues

Allelys have recently removed and transported one of Birmingham’s iconic statues. Affectionately known as the “Floozy in the Jacuzzi” but officially The River and Youth statues.

Lifting a 43te port drum engine

Allelys were contracted to lift the engine, manoeuvre it out of the manufacturing facility, transport it to Felixstowe and offload it at the docks, all within the same day.

Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm

Allelys played a key role in the Hornsea 2 project by delivering and installing 11 units including two 84te shunt reactors, three 135te transformers, three 208te reactors and three 240te transformers.

Delivery of a 185te transformer to Burwell

Allelys have recently transported, offloaded and installed a transformer weighing 184te. The cargo was received at Ipswich Docks onto a 12 axle flat top trailer and shunted to a temporary storage area.

Delivery of two historic boats

Allelys have provided the full service solution to offload, deliver and install four transformers, weighing 255te, at Dogger Bank Wind Farm.
