Transport & Install 146te Yankee Dryer Cylinder

Allelys have successfully completed the transport and crane lift operation for the installation of a 146te Yankee drying cylinder at Shotton Mill in Flintshire.

Delivery of 137te and 9m long Yankee dryer

Allelys have delivered a Yankee dryer pressure vessel, weighing 137te, to a paper mill in Barrow in Furness.

Relocating a 92te armature

Allelys have successfully completed the relocation of a 92te Armature from Burntwood to Newport. The Armature, which had a 3m diameter, was required to be lifted with its wooden supports.

Lifting a 43te port drum engine

Allelys were contracted to lift the engine, manoeuvre it out of the manufacturing facility, transport it to Felixstowe and offload it at the docks, all within the same day.

Dismantling of a 100te crane

Allelys were required to decommission and dismantle a 100te crane with a span dimension of 18.5m. The team utilised the Enerpac 900te lift system to dismantle the crane.

7 Installations of aluminium die cast machines

Allelys have successfully completed 7 installations of the largest aluminium die cast machines in the UK

Transportation of 18 specialist testing modules

Allelys were contracted to transport the modules from an existing engine plant, where they have been in stored, to a new electric car plant in Whitley.

Installation of a 3,000te transfer press

Installation of a 3,000te transfer press complete with feeder and de-stacker. The main components included a 172te bed, a 110te slide and a 350te crown.
