Specialising in abnormal and indivisible loads (AIL), we have a dedicated team who will work closely with each customer to plan, engineer, project manage and execute each project.
With the equipment to accommodate oversized and overweight abnormal loads, Allelys provide bespoke solutions across a range of sectors from rail, heavy manufacturing, oil and gas and power through to agriculture and horticulture.
A vast equipment fleet
Our fleet includes euroliners, curtainsiders and tractor units for general haulage as well as a wide range of abnormal load transport equipment with options such as extendable trailers, machinery trailers, step frames and semi-low loaders. Our fleet is further bolstered by our specialist transport fleet including girder frames, SPMTs and modular trailers.
When transporting abnormal and indivisible loads, girder frames are the most practical solution for offering masterful manoeuvrability and suspension. With girder frames allowing a for a lower running height and a lower axle loading across the transport configuration. It provides us with more flexibility and practical options when identifying routes and can significantly reduce risk when manoeuvring around infrastructure.
Supporting services
Alongside our equipment fleet, we can provide a range of services to support abnormal load transport projects. Our in-house engineering team are on hand to design bespoke transport configurations, produce RAMS and complete route surveys to assess the best route for the transport to take, including analysis of the structures on route and any street furniture that will need to be temporarily removed. We will prepare movement permits and liaise with police escorts as required. Allelys also have a fleet of escort vehicles available to work on projects across the UK.
