Decommissioning, dismantling and transporting
Allelys were required to decommission and dismantle a 100te crane with a span dimension of 18.5m. The team utilised the Enerpac 900te lift system to dismantle the crane.
A 40te capacity mobile crane was then used to lift the sections onto the transport. Due to the length of the beams, a transport arrangement using extendable trailers was devised to transport the cargo from Burntwood to Redditch.
As well as supplying and operating the equipment, the Allelys team provided full project management and engineering support including a route study, lift study, lift plan and lift management.
