Teflon skid system solutions
Allelys own and operate a fleet of heavy lift skid systems, including teflon skid systems which are an ideal solution for the movement, installation or removal of loads, by offering a flexible approach, where space and accessibility are restricted.
Often combined with our hydraulic jacking systems, the combination allows for loads to be jacked up from their current locations and relocated using our skidding systems. The systems are used by laying a trackway with a teflon pad surface, along a predetermined direction of travel. The load is then moved using a self-locking, hydraulic propulsion system, which controls the movement of the load across the track, to deliver precision positioning.
Equipment fleet
Our range of skid systems include both low level and heavy duty systems and their capacities allow us to tailor the best option for our customers specific requirements, across a wide range of sectors and loads, including power generation, civil infrastructure and factory and industrial installations.
In addition to skidding, our extensive and diverse fleet of equipment, provide multiple options for a variety of heavy lifting demands. Our fleet also includes hydraulic jacking systems of varying capacities up to 250te. We also operate gantry lifting systems that range up to 900te and have a large number of possible configurations, to suit our customer’s needs.
Supporting services
For road movements we own and operate modular trailers and girder frame trailers which range up to 500te, both capabilities cater for movements around challenging infrastructure. Our SPMTs (Self Propelled Modular Transporters) are an ideal option for restricted onsite movements where advanced manoeuvrability is required. Our projects are further supported by our fleet of all terrain mobile cranes, which range from 25te to 550te and Franna cranes of up to 15te for smaller load movements.
Our experienced engineering team work closely with our customers to fully understand the project requirements, before designing the most practical and effective engineering solution to successfully deliver and overcome the project challenges.
