Relocating a 92te armature

Allelys have successfully completed the relocation of a 92te Armature from Burntwood to Newport. The Armature, which had a 3m diameter, was required to be lifted with its wooden supports.

Transportation of M6 bridge beams

Allelys have successfully delivered ten 48m long bridge beams as part of the M6 Junction 10 improvement scheme. The project was split into two phases, with five beams delivered in July and five in September.

Delivery of energy from waste components

Allelys have recently supported an energy from waste project by offloading 23 items from the vessel, placing them into temporary storage and then transporting them to site.

Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm

Allelys played a key role in the Hornsea 2 project by delivering and installing 11 units including two 84te shunt reactors, three 135te transformers, three 208te reactors and three 240te transformers.

Delivery of a 185te transformer to Burwell

Allelys have recently transported, offloaded and installed a transformer weighing 184te. The cargo was received at Ipswich Docks onto a 12 axle flat top trailer and shunted to a temporary storage area.

Installation of 15 components for the Rassau project

Allelys were contracted to install fifteen components for the Rassau project. These components, when combined, form a synchronous condenser, which will add inertia and frequency stability to the power grid in the UK.

Tummel transformer deliveries

Allelys were contracted to deliver two 131te transformers from Portugal to Tummel Bridge substation

Iggesund paper mill

Receiving the main power hall equipment and associated ancillaries at Workington port, transporting them to site and lifting to foundations.

7 Installations of aluminium die cast machines

Allelys have successfully completed 7 installations of the largest aluminium die cast machines in the UK

Transport and offload of World War II Landing Craft

Allelys has completed the transportation, offloading and positioning of the last World War II Landing Craft in the UK.
