Using Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs), along with full swept path analysis, enable us to lift and manoeuvre, new or existing bridge sections across challenging terrain and position them for installation.
Our full-service logistics solutions are ideal for outsourcing the transport management of bridge installation components to site. With Allelys completing route study’s, swept path analysis, and managing permit applications. Before successfully executing the necessary transportation requirements, by mobilising from of our range of conventional heavy haulage options. Including heavy tractor units, modular trailers, bolstered turntables, and an extensive catalogue of extendable trailer solutions.
Heavy lifting solutions
Should the project require an installation through our heavy lift services, our fleet of all terrain mobile cranes, range from 25te to 550te, providing a variety of lifting solutions to support bridge installations. In addition to our extensive crane hire capabilities, we also offer CPA Contract Lift Services, which take away the responsibility of the lifting activities away from the hirer. Allelys will then provide not only the crane hire but the planning, risk assessments, lift plans, method statements, qualified personnel, and insurances.
In addition to our traditional crane hire services, we offer a catalogue of other heavy lift capabilities, with our in-house engineering team providing problem solving resolutions, to individual project challenges. These include lifting gantries, strand jacks, heavy lift jacking and skidding systems. Which all offer unique lifting solutions to bridge installations, replacements, and other civil engineering projects.
Full service solution
As part of our full service solution, once delivered we can also execute the lifting and installation of bridge beams. Combining our high-level engineering with our specialist lifting and installation equipment, hosting a range of cranes, hydraulic gantries, jacking systems and skidding systems that can be configured accordingly.
Allelys are also able to support bridge removal and replacement projects, and can also offer transportation services to provide bridge section transport to site ready for installation and also from site for disassembly.
