Lifting and transporting a swim spa
Allelys services were required to lift the swim spa out of a back garden within a residential area. Due to the position of the swim spa and the constraints of the built-up area, an LTM1055 crane was used at 30m radius and operated from the council owned highway.
Planning and preparation
Crane load spreading mats were placed onto the highway prior to the cranes arrival and were positioned by a hiab. The team were also responsible for organising council permits, pedestrian barriers and carrying out a letter drop to nearby residents.
The swim spa was loaded onto the Allelys transport, secured and then transported to Bournemouth, where it was then offloaded by a hiab.
