Class 1 General Haulage Driver

Job description

Allelys are recruiting for an experienced general haulage Class 1 driver to join our expanding team. We’re specialists in abnormal and European loads, making the work varied and interesting. With opportunities to operate 80te tractor units and routes of progression through our transport fleet readily available and encouraged within the business.

Role information

Full-time
Permanent
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
Tramping
Abnormal loads
Office location – Studley, Warwickshire

Experience required

2 years minimum Class 1 experience
A broad background in general haulage is advantageous, although training will be provided

Qualifications / certifications required

HGV C+E licence
CPC qualification card
Tachograph card

Salary

£160.00 per day (Monday – Friday)
£185.00 per day (Saturday and Sunday)
Abnormal load bonus (£20.00 bonus for running under an abnormal load notification. This can only be claimed once a day irrespective of the number of loads completed or the distance travelled under notification).
European bonus (£20.00 bonus per day for operating in Europe. To note: the abnormal load bonus does not apply when running in Europe).
£26.00 per night out
