Safety is embedded within our culture and reflected in every decision we make. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, partners, clients and all those who interact with our operations. While the sectors in which we operate present complex challenges and inherent risks, we approach every project with an uncompromising commitment to safeguarding our people, protecting the environment and securing our assets.

Investing in our People

We invest significantly in the competence and development of our workforce. Our comprehensive training programme supports continuous professional development and ensures our teams operate in full accordance with approved safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements. This includes a blend of in-house training, structured e-learning and externally accredited industry qualifications such as CSCS, CPCS, NPORS and NVQs.

Safety Performance

Our safety performance is fundamental to the success of our business and our projects, and therefore it’s essential that we continuously identify, assess and act upon any areas that can be improved. Any areas that are identified are reported, recorded, investigated, analysed and then lessons learnt published within safety bulletins and toolbox talks to ensure lessons learnt are embedded throughout our business.

We also have a fully integrated written management system, which shapes the way we operate and is accredited to the following ISO standards:

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management
Maintained by our qualified in-house management team, the system is subject to regular internal review and independent external audit, including assessments by UKAS-accredited certification bodies, customers and FORS.

For Allelys, certification represents an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-off achievement. Alongside external audits and surveillance visits, we undertake regular internal audits across both office operations and project sites to ensure our standards are maintained and continually improved.

Waste reduction and responsible resource management are integral to our approach. Materials are managed in accordance with established procedures to encourage reuse and recycling wherever practicable, while ensuring full compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.

Environmental considerations are embedded into project planning and operational delivery, ensuring that risks are identified, controlled and monitored. Through continuous review and improvement, we remain focused on reducing our environmental impact while maintaining the high standards expected by our clients and stakeholders.

Allelys have successfully completed the transport and crane lift operation for the installation of a 146te Yankee drying cylinder at Shotton Mill in Flintshire.
Allelys’ AK912 mobile crane returned to the UK market to lift critical infrastructure at Port of Sutton Bridge. This project marked the AK912’s first project lifts since the crane underwent a full refurbishment.
Allelys has successfully delivered a turnkey solution for the transport and installation of critical equipment at the Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant.
Allelys have successfully completed the transport and installation of a 309.5te turbine, 326.1te generator and 221.8te transformer from Newport Docks to Hirwaun Power Station.
