Installations Supervisor
Job description
Leading a team of operatives, whilst working with Allelys Projects / Installation team on carrying out safely and efficiently all aspects of installations work including but not limited to jacking, skidding and lifting.
Key responsibilities
- To work primarily as part of the project team.
- Perform role based at Allelys head office and working at various sites across the UK.
- To carry out the role in adherence with Allelys health and safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all third-party site rules and procedures.
- Attend job appropriate inhouse and external training courses when requested.
- To carry out jacking and skidding operations as instructed by Allelys Site Supervisor/ Project
- Manager and in accordance with the project RAMS.
- The operation of plant and machinery after receiving appropriate training and certification.
- Responsible to report any problems, malfunctions, accidents or incidents to Operations Manager, Project Manager or Site Supervisor.
- Assist with maintenance of Allelys equipment.
- Manual handling activates.
- Pre and post inspection of tackle used on site.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment when in Allelys yard.

Skills and experience
- Good knowledge of the Heavy Lift industry.
- Full driving licence.
- Site experience in engineered construction.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills; both personal and professional.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own.
- Travel, nights away will be required for varying durations.
Qualifications
Essential
- CITB Safety Passport / CSCS labourers’ card.
- Slinger signaller CPCS / NPORS.
- Telehandler CPCS / NPORS.
Desirable
- Crane Supervisor CPCS.
- Knowledge of hydraulic jacking systems.
- SSSTS qualification.
