Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest haulage companies, where you will be assisting with the loading/unloading, steering and escorting of some of the largest loads moved on the UK road network.
The position will require the successful candidate to be away from home most of the working week, including some weekends, at short notice. Once awarded the role, you will be allocated a van from our escort van fleet. These vans are fitted with beds and night heaters etc.
Applicants must hold a valid car driving license and be physically fit, as the role includes manual handling.
Role information
- Permanent
- Monday – Friday with weekends involved
- Working away regularly
- Cost of parking covered
- Office location – Studley, Warwickshire
Experience & qualifications required
- Valid driving license
- CPC qualification card an advantage
- Escorting abnormal loads is an advantage but not essential
Salary
- Dependent upon experience
